Take me home. I grew up in Marske, R...Ah, Whitby! Take me home. I grew up in Marske, Redcar and Goathland. Whitby was my playground. How I used to enjoy hostelling down the coast. Could live in Whitby anyday. When we lived in Goathland we used to drive down to Whitby on really stormy days to watch the waves breaking over the piers. Love the Abbey, the history, the ghosts, Dracula, the smuggling, the "kiss me quick" hats, the winkles, the houses - well everything about this little gem of a town.
